HOD Institutional Management.
Institutional management department has four sections headed by Head of Section (HOS), namely:
- Food and Beverage,
- Fashion Design and Garment Making,
- Beauty Therapy and Hair Dressing
- Nutrition and Dietetics Management.
Currently, the department has 15 lectures who train students in diploma, craft and artisan levels in their respective sections. The department has the highest enrolment in the institution and it has been increasing over the past years and we project a future increment in numbers.
The department is committed to provide quality training through adequate preparation of students in theory, practical and research. The department is well equipped and facilitated to offer quality training and learning.
We offer Artisan, Craft and Diploma courses examined by KNEC in the following areas:
- Food and Beverage Production and Service
- Fashion Design and Garment Making
- Dietetic Management
- House keeping
- Hair dressing and Beauty Therapy
We have introduced the following Competency Based Education and Training (CBET) courses examined by TVETA CDACC: –
- Baking Technology level 5
- Fashion Design level 5.
